Maggie Ardiente (she/her)
Director of Development
Maggie Ardiente (she/her) is the Director of Development for PFLAG National, where she leads the organization's fundraising initiatives. She has over 15 years of experience in nonprofit fundraising and communications, and has appeared in national media such as NPR, Fox News, Washington Post, and Huffington Post. Prior to PFLAG, Maggie served as Director of Development & Communications for the National Homelessness Law Center and the American Humanist Association. Originally from Virginia Beach, Virginia, Maggie graduated cum laude from James Madison University with a bachelor's degree in sociology and is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and Women of Color in Fundraising and Philanthropy.
Jamie Henkel (she/her)
Learning & Inclusion Manager
Jamie Henkel (she/her) is the Learning & Inclusion Manager at PFLAG National. She works with PFLAG chapters on ally engagement programming, cultivates Straight for Equality’s online presence, supports the development of new Straight for Equality publications and learning sessions, and is one of the program’s learning session educators. Jamie lives in Portland, OR with her cat and enjoys day hiking (but not backpacking) and everything else that the Pacific Northwest has to offer.
